Bee Inspired

This print series was originally created in oil paint using photographs I took during the spring wildflower season here in Southwest Louisiana. The bustle of life surrounding the wildflowers was invigorating to witness after the quiet dormancy of the winter. Spending time outside with the bees and connecting with nature provided me with feelings of inspiration, gratitude, and joy; which is how these paintings got their names. Hopefully they inspire you to get out and appreciate the beauty and wonder of the natural world that surrounds us. If you do you may just Bee Inspired, Grateful, or Joyful by the pure power of it.
