What the process looks like.

Start by sending me a contact form to get the ball rolling. I can answer any of your questions and we can go over reference material. Client provided reference material must meet a certain criteria in order to be approved. Quality images result in better paintings so this is important. I offer an option for clients local to the Lake Charles, LA area to photograph the subject myself to ensure a quality reference.

After we discuss your ideas I will create a “proof” that displays the composition and a general feeling of what the painting will look like completed for your approval. Once approved a deposit will be required before I start working on the project. It is either $50 or 25% if the cost of the painting is over $400. I will then begin the painting process. The timeline varies but it will be something that is discussed once the proof has been made and before the deposit is paid. As soon as the painting reaches its final stages I will send another photo for approval. At this point hopefully you love it, but if I missed the mark we can make any necessary changes. Once approved it can begin drying so I can finish it with a varnish. The final payment will be due before shipping.
