Hello, I’m Miranda.

An oil painter with a background in photography who is located in Lake Charles, LA with my husband Stacey and our two pups Marley and Bandit. I enjoy traveling and spending time outside. My style of work is painterly realism, while I capture a subject’s likeness, there are visible brush strokes and expression in the final painting. Animals and florals are my main subjects, although I do occasionally paint people.

After doing photography for 7 years I picked up painting again in January 2020. I hadn’t used the medium since highschool and was surprised to find how much I had missed it! Then along came COVID, bringing an abundance of time to play, so I took full advantage and have been captivated by the process ever since. Needless to say I am excited for what’s to come and appreciate all of the support so far along my journey.
